One of the many sweeping changes under the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) is the move to 30-day payment periods. The obvious impact of this change is an increase in claim submission.

But claim submission is just one step in the overall billing process. Because of this, agencies must be prepared for an increase in pre-bill edit reporting, payment verification, cash posting, LUPA adjustments, and more.
